🇺🇸🎆 4th of July Pet Safety Reminders from our adoptable boy, Flash! 🎆🇺🇸
Fireworks may be fun for us, but they can be terrifying for our pets! Every year, Animal Services across the country see a surge in lost pets around the 4th of July. Help keep your furry family members safe with these simple steps:
🐾 Keep pets indoors – Loud noises and bright flashes can cause even the calmest pets to panic and escape.
📍 Make sure microchips are up to date – A microchip is only helpful if your contact info is current.
🪪 Use collars with ID tags – If your pet gets out, visible ID helps get them home faster.
🛠️ Secure fences and gates – Check for loose boards or gaps pets could squeeze through if spooked.
💊 Talk to your vet – If your pet has noise anxiety, ask your vet about calming medications or techniques.
Let’s make sure this holiday is safe and stress-free for everyone—especially our four-legged friends.
If you find or lose a pet during the holiday, contact your city’s Animal Services. If found in Cibolo’s jurisdiction contact us at:
