On Friday, December 12th, the second cohort of the Foundations of Floortime Course, a collaborative with Profectum, Pediatric Therapy Specialists and the Speech Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy departments of UT Health, completed their training as part of Project ASPIRE. This project kicks off a five-year program, geared toward preparing UT Health graduate students in use of DIRFloortime, a neuro-affirming and evidence-based approach to supporting children with high-intensity needs, such as autism, speech and language disorders and developmental delays. Congratulations to these dedicated scholars on this huge achievement! You will make such a difference in the lives of the future children and families you serve.
