Mon – Fri: 9:00 am – 9:00 pm; Sat: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm & Sun: 10:00 am 6:00 pm.

*Must be able to travel to multiple locations when needed.
Working under the supervision of providers and a Clinic Manager in an urgent care setting, the Medical Assistant will support clinic staff and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner within the Medical Assistant scope of practice and certification in accordance with Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care policies, practices/procedures, and applicable regulations.
The Medical Assistant will provide basic and routine assistance with patient care delivery and assist providers during examination and treatment.

Must be willing to travel as needed to other clinics.

Must be willing to work 12 hours shifts and rotating weekends.

Must have current Healthcare Provider BLS certification.

H.S Diploma or equivalent required.

Must be a Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program, or Medical Assistant with relevant work experience required.

Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care is seeking a Seasonal Front Office Specialist This position will provide support for multiple clinics. The front office specialist is responsible for telephone communications to include answering multiple phone lines, screening calls, recording messages, transferring calls to the appropriate department and returning calls as indicated. Responsibility includes greeting patients, physicians, and vendors, verifying patient information and insurance coverage, preparing patient charts for office visits, and collecting co-payments or deductibles for office visits.
Front Office Specialist:

Greets patients/customers, insurance verification, data-entry into EMR, basic math skills, collecting co-payments/deductibles/balances, answers phones, end of day balancing.

Must be organized and detail oriented.

0-2 years’ experience in front office clinic/urgent care setting.

Experience with MS Word and MS Excel

Knowledge of HIPAA, ability to work independently and as a team.

Must have a pleasant disposition with a desire to provide great customer service.

Knowledge of office equipment to include fax, and copy machine.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Must be willing to travel as needed to other clinics
