I was Surprise this morning with the representative from Treace brought me my official recognition as a center of distinction for lapiplasty procedures. This means I have joined their centurion club and done greater than 100 cases using their technology. It has been a game changer for me for trading bunions and mid-foot arthritis. Their technology allows patients to weight, bear early and get out of protection 6 to 8 weeks earlier than traditional techniques. I have totally loved it and think it is currently the best option I am aware of on the market. Of course! I made him take some pictures with my award

Had a chance yesterday evening to go to Dr. Toan's house and speak with his son and daughter-in-law. His wife unfortunately was out of town. I miss him greatly. He was a huge part of our AOFAS Vietnam projects and was instrumental in making it as awesome and great in Vietnam. I last saw him in January of 2023 and sadly he passed away in November 2023 from a very rapid and unexpected cancer. He is missed by all the docs at Viet Duc hospital where he is a leader for many years of the orthopedic department and teacher of the residents. This is the family altar which I think is a wonderful tradition. The photographs to the left are his parents.

Back from the aofas meeting in Vancouver. It was a great meeting and so much cooler than San Antonio. I did like the attendee on the right who is pointing out where I needed to go. Enjoyed seeing all my friends as well as getting an education

I learned of a website this weekend that is available to every patient who is looking to find resources in our community. It is findhelp.org. you go to this website, put in your ZIP code and it will come up with so many different resources that are available. You will be amazed. I hope this helps many of you

I love helping out in the community and on Saturday with help from Dr. Frank and his girlfriend Shanna, we delivered to beds from sleep in heavenly peace to two children who had no beds to sleep on. Sleep in heavenly peace has 5,000 kids on their wait list in San Antonio. So I am so glad to have participated in a build and then participated in a delivery. I look forward to being more and more involved with this organization.
