There's no shortage of providers, there's a shortage of insurance accepting providers.

Why? Because insurance companies send refund requests for THOUSANDS of dollars years after services were rendered. They're allowed to recoup money for an oopsie on their part.

The process to get a provider credentialed can take MONTHS! Dont even get me started on Medicare.

Most payouts for a single clinician are low depending on the insurance accepted. $60 for a one hour session?? Lower payout if you offered couple or family counseling! Dear insurance companies, have you ever had to mediate 2 people who cant stand each other for a whole hour??? Trust, the work from these providers is more than the $54 you pay.

The list goes on and on.

Despite the advice of other business owners, I knew it was the right thing to do, so I lowered their monthly rate. (I don't post this for admiration. I post this to show how faithful our God is. )

Within seconds of my text, I can see God's timing. They share a brief life update and express gratitude for the news.

Others, will think coincidence. My first thought was, " LOOK AT GOD WORK!!!! WON'T HE DO IT!!!!"

My businesses were built out of a need. I was a single mom torn between earning income or caring for my kids. One too many times, I was threatened being fired for taking care of my kids. One too many times yall........ so I said, I quit!!!! I'm going to do this my way.

Don't let insurance companies play with your money. I strongly believe in being fair and these insurance companies are making it more difficult for patients to receive care and providers to receive payment.

What usually takes less than 40 days took nearly a year! Claims, denials, phone calls, and appeals!

However, persistence paid off and the Provider has received payment.
