Had a beautiful time of connection with sisters to start the season. Ladybug spirit sat with me in lieu of a dearly missed friend. Today I drew cards for this time and all pointed to truth, sincerity, and community.

Y'all. The world feels like s**t right now. And a lot of it is. But we cannot let that keep us from fighting. Take a breath. Walk outside. Wonder in the fact that you're gardening with a squirrel (the peanuts with the cilantro are all theirs), that the light is beautiful at sunset. Take the time to grieve or rant or scream.

We cannot let this world take our hearts.

The animals were teaching me all about abundance Sunday! We have to accept that the blessings are for us and take steps towards them, even when it's scary. We're now moving into the time of Bealtaine, where we take the blessings and new beginnings of Imbolc and turn them into something!

As we step forward into this time of year, I pray that you find your strength to create!

My new set of prayer beads. So excited to use them in my personal practice. I find that having a physical anchor helps control my wandering thoughts.

Come join me for the next Yanaguana Rose Circle. We'll have a short circle of songs, stories, and reflections about abundance. Then we'll follow with a Way of the Rose Rosary circle.

The Way of the Rose is "an open-hearted, inclusive community of beings dedicated to the forgotten Earth wisdom of the rosary…and to the Lady, by any name you like to call Her. We are not affiliated with the Catholic Church or any other religious institution"

Had such a beautiful time this weekend in Breckenridge park. A celebration of community of all types (I wish I had taken pictures of all the cool cars and bikes on Sunday!). If you're in the San Antonio area, make sure you check out this park and then reach out to your councilperson and let them know you want to protect the trees and birds there!
