Above everything else, yoga is a teacher.

It teaches us compassion.

It teaches as patience.

It teaches us that small choices can make a big impact over time.

So when the world feels heavy, when life feels heavy, remember that peace begins with how we love ourselves and how we love our neighbor. There is comfort in knowing our agency rests there.

Your dream yoga practice doesn’t have to exist only in your imagination ✨

When you put yourself in the driver’s seat of your practice, you stop being a passive recipient and start being a co-creator of the reality you want to manifest.

Private yoga lets you choose where, when, and how you practice so you stop forcing your body to fit into a cookie cutter class and start letting your practice work for you.

Tell me about your dream yoga practice in the comments ⬇️

Who’s ready for one of these viral trends? 🙋🏻‍♀️

Here’s the thing about yoga:
Yoga teaches us boundaries.
It gives us safe opportunities to say yes and no.
It teaches us how to sit and breathe in discomfort.
It offers space to practice pausing so we become responsive instead of reactive.

Holistic yoga is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.

Let me let you in on a little secret:

There are plenty of days that I don’t practice asana, the physical yoga shapes. But I still practice yoga every day.

If your day doesn’t align with a movement practice, there are still 7 other parts of yoga calling your name.

Maybe your practice is in how you breathe. Maybe it’s where you give your attention and focus. Maybe it’s how you show up for yourself.

If you’re curious to learn more about how to cultivate a holistic practice where movement is one tool, but not the ONLY tool, let’s connect. Like, follow, or check out invitationyoga.com.

Yoga doesn’t need to be another place where you try harder or push through.

If your days are full of deadlines, drop‑offs, dishes, decisions, and very little space to breathe, yoga should not ask more from you.
It should give something back.

This practice isn’t about forcing flexibility, chasing sensation, or proving how strong or disciplined you are.
It’s about listening to your body, respecting your nervous system, and choosing what actually supports you today.

For busy women juggling work, family, and everything in between, yoga can be a place to slow down without guilt.
To move without performance.
To feel steadier, not more depleted.

If you’re curious what yoga feels like when it’s designed around your real life, I offer private one‑on‑one sessions and intimate small group experiences.
Thoughtful, personalized, and supportive of where you actually are.

There’s the sweetest little Bluey episode where Bandit pretends that he was “born yesterday.” Of course, to the delight of his kids, he doesn’t know how to do even the simplest tasks because he is simply too new to it all.

And while the whole episode begins in fun, by the end, Bandit is staring out into his backyard, actually in awe of nature and approaching a familiar view as if he was seeing it for the very first time.

Yoga asks us to approach life like this.

It asks us to come onto the mat in a spirit of curiosity of what parts of ourselves we will meet and what feelings will come up.

To move, breathe, and notice without rushing to label the experience.
To soften our expectations and let wonder replace judgment.
To remember that even the most familiar poses, days, and moments can feel entirely new when we meet them with presence.

Maybe the practice isn’t about doing it better. Maybe it’s about seeing it again, as if we were born yesterday.
