Thank you to everyone who ventured out on this cloudy day. The rain held off and we walked our 2 miles. Today, we learned about hands-only CPR and had a small demonstration. You can practice hands-only CPR on your own at home using simply a roll of toilet paper, a t-shirt, and a towel! I hope to see you at next month's walk on May 9th at 8:30 am and at every other walk on the 2nd Saturday of the month.

My next Walk with a Doc is tomorrow, Saturday April 11th at 8:30 am at Walker Ranch Park. My walks are monthly on every 2nd Saturday of the month. Tomorrow’s weather forecast predicts possible rain. Although I’m happy we are receiving some rain in this drought, I’m hoping the skies will allow us to walk tomorrow. Unless it’s raining cats and dogs or lightening, we still plan to walk. Come prepared for possible sprinkles. I will post an update tomorrow morning if we have to cancel the walk due to rain. Hope to see yall!

🚶‍♀️ Walk with a Doc – This Saturday!

Join us Saturday, March 14, 2026 (Pi Day!) at 8:30 AM at Walker Ranch Park for a fun and refreshing morning walk! Start the day with a brief health talk from Dr. Jessica Dunn and enjoy a relaxed walk together.

It’s 3.14 day, so technically the most mathematically correct thing you can do is go for a walk!

✨ Snacks and water provided
🎟️ Raffle at every walk (because who doesn’t like a chance to win something before 9 AM?)

Bring your friends, your family, and your walking shoes. Let’s get some steps in, learn something new, and have a little fun along the way!

Roses are red, violets are blue…your heart works hard, so take care of it, too! ❤️

This Valentine’s Day, give your heart the gift of movement. Join Dr. Jessica Dunn on Saturday, February 14th at 8:30 AM at Walker Ranch Park for a heart-healthy walk in honor of American Heart Month.

We’ll walk, talk heart health, and start the weekend strong. There’s a chance of rain early Saturday morning, so dress accordingly. I’ll post an update early that morning if weather changes our plans.

We had our largest turn out for my Walk with a Doc last month! It was a festive walk🎄I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. Let’s start off this 2026 year healthy!
