Esperanza is happy to announce our newest team member - Morgan Negaard, DPN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Morgan has extensive experience providing care for adolescents and adults with eating disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions including OCD, PTSD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders.

She considers it a gift to be able to witness and support the healing and growth of her patients. We consider it a gift to have her on Team Esperanza!

This is National Eating Disorders Awareness Week. A time spent to celebrate recovery of those with eating disorders and where we mourn the loss of loved ones, including past patients who have died from their eating disorder.
Sadly, eating disorders have the second highest mortality rate of mental illnesses. Today at Esperanza we participated in a SUD training by Starlight Recovery as opioid abuse, has the highest death rate of all the mental illnesses.
