Cesar Elizondo
April 15, 1950 – July 10, 2025

Cesar Elizondo, age 75, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, in his cherished childhood home.

Born on April 15, 1950, in San Antonio, Cesar lived a life full of dedication, love, and laughter. A proud veteran of the United States Army, Cesar was known not only for his service but also for his many talents—as a musician, our go-to mechanic, and the handiest man around.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lucia and Juventino Elizondo, and his brothers Joe, Richard, Oscar, and Carlos. He also joins his faithful pets Boisie, Fival, Buddy, and Zeus.

Cesar is survived by his devoted wife, Martha; his loving daughter, Jenny; his granddaughters Victoria, Erica, Jamie, and Abigail; and his cherished great-grandson, Nathanael Cesar. He is also survived by his sister Josephine Espinoza and many nieces and nephews, who all held a special place in his heart.

Cesar had a deep passion for fishing, barbecuing, watching football, and working on his truck or boat—all preferably while enjoying oldies or classic rock with a cold beverage in hand. His humor and warmth brightened every gathering, and his unforgettable phrases—“I’m the ramrod around here,” “Hurry up old hen,” “If you wanna play, you gotta pay,” and “Make it snappy!”—will echo in our hearts forever.

Above all, Cesar was a hardworking man who made sure his family was always taken care of. His legacy of love, laughter, and strength will live on in each of us.

A memorial service will be held at SouthWest Funeral Home, 3946 S. Zarzamora St., San Antonio, TX 78225, on Friday, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. All who knew and loved Cesar are welcome to attend and celebrate his remarkable life.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

With deep love and gentle reverence, we celebrate the life of Jacqueline Barrientes, whose earthly journey ended on April 9th, 2025, and whose spirit has now entered into eternity.

Jacqueline was a woman of unwavering faith — a true believer in the power of prayer, and a living witness to the miraculous. She didn’t just speak of miracles — she received them. Through every trial, she never lost her grip on the truth that God was near. Again and again, heaven answered. Her life was laced with moments that defied explanation, each one a quiet reminder that with faith, the impossible becomes possible.

Her belief was never for show — it was deeply personal, powerful, and rooted in love. She inspired others not by preaching, but simply by living. With open hands and an open heart, she moved through this world expecting goodness from a good God. There was a peace in her presence, a quiet confidence born of one who, even while in the valley, had seen mountains move.

In her final days, her spirit was unshaken. She remained anchored in hope, continuing to light the way for those around her. Her legacy of faith lives on — in every story we share, in every lesson she taught, and in the countless hearts she touched.

Jacqueline is survived by her son, Richard (Vanessa) Vasquez, her daughters, Donna Reschman, Rebecca (Aaron) Alvarez, Christina (Gabriel) Borrego and her beautiful grandchildren, Serina, Katrina, Audrey, Richard Jr., Andraya, Damien (Vasquez) and Sarah Mila (Borrego). Jacqueline was preceded in death by her sons, Christian and Ruben Joshua Lee Reschman, her husband Eugene Vasquez, her mother Maria Aguirre, her father Ruben Reschman, her nephew Tommy Lee Reschman, and her father brother, Caesar Reschman.

A service honoring her life will be held on April 19th, 2025 at Southwest Funeral Home in San Antonio, Texas from 3pm to 8 pm and a prayer service to be recited at 6:30pm. All Services will conclude that evening.

She will be missed deeply — but her light, her faith, and her unconditional love remain with us all.
