1. Your tummy won’t stay as tight as Day 1
Right after surgery everything is pulled in, compressed, and supported by a garment.
As the tissues relax (totally normal), the abdomen softens.

2. Weak core muscles need retraining
If you had a big diastasis, your muscles were stretched for years.
We repair them surgically, but you still need to rebuild your core.
Patients who skip this tend to see more rounding with time.

3. Visceral fat becomes more noticeable
We can remove external fat… not the fat around your organs.
Once the garment comes off, internal fullness can show. Healthy habits + guidance from your P*P help most here.

4. Upper belly roundness is common
