A Special Shoutout to Shaquoya!
This summer, Shaquoya Clark hosted our Middle School Mindset Workshop, and we are so grateful for the energy, care, and insight she brought to the experience. Shaquoya helped students explore confidence, emotional awareness, and resilience during growth and transition.

Meet Shaquoya Clark
Shaquoya is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Originally from Lynchburg, Virginia, she brings a strong foundation in sociology and a lifelong passion for advocacy and mental wellness. She is currently completing her practicum and internship, gaining hands-on experience in counseling with diverse populations.
Her therapeutic approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, with a special focus on self-esteem, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and cultural identity. Shaquoya is especially passionate about serving students, children, teens, women, and marginalized communities, and she’s committed to creating a safe, inclusive space for healing and growth.
In her downtime, you’ll find her sharing mental health resources online, traveling, trying new foods, and relaxing with video games. Shaquoya is committed to making mental health care empowering for all.
