From the very start, Roger Moczygemba, MD, in collaboration with Mr. Shankar Poncelet, laid the foundation for a movement that would transform healthcare in San Antonio. Their vision was clear: to champion the principles of the free market in medical care, ensuring transparency, fairness, and quality for all using the foundation laid by national founders of the Free Market Medical Association: Jay Kempton and Keith Smith, MD.

Today, we are excited to announce that Hussein Musa, MD, and Tim Puckett, DPT, will carry forward this visionary torch as our new chapter leaders. Both are highly regarded Direct Care Specialists committed to enhancing our community’s healthcare through innovative and sustainable free market solutions.

As we welcome Dr. Musa and Dr. Puckett, we also honor the ongoing contributions of Dr. Moczygemba and Mr. Poncelet who remain integral members of our community. Together, we will continue to build on the robust foundation established in 2019, driving progress and making healthcare accessible and affordable.
