People always talk about having weak knees or hips with running, but let’s not forgot about the very part of your body that hits the ground first…your feet! 🦶🦶

Common running faults such as excessive pronation (collapse of your arch) or excessive supination (striking on the outside of your foot) can be caused by weakness or instability in the foot, leading to the inability to properly support the impact that comes with running. This can lead to injuries such as ankle pain/sprains, arch or calf pain, and even bunions as well 🙅‍♂️

These two simple exercises are a great way to build a strong base and foundation for your running by targeting the smaller intrinsic foot and calf muscles that help stabilize your foot and ankle. Say goodbye to pain, toe-day is a great day to start getting ahead of your injuries! ✅✅

“She thought pain was just part of marathon training…”

She was training for marathons, completed a Half Ironman, working as an RN, and pushing through constant aches and pains…

❌ Achilles pain
❌ Knee swelling
❌ Tight calves
❌ Low back stiffness
❌ Hip discomfort

Like a lot of runners, she thought it was just part of training.

But over time, those small issues started adding up.

Instead of telling her to stop running, we focused on helping her body handle the demands of training better 👇
