Alamo Aesthetics is truly my dream come true!! I still cannot believe I am a business owner, my own boss, and in charge of my own future. I remember when it WAS just a dream, just a thought, and something that seemed so far out of my reach. And here I am now, and this dream has become my real life. It has been a huge learning experience, and I continue to learn more every single day. It has not been an easy journey to date (and it still isn't easy), but I am loving the ride! It was very hard to take the leap and leave my full time job at the hospital with the security of a paycheck every 2 weeks....But my husband told me- “You cannot pursue a dream working for someone else!” I am so blessed to have such a supportive husband. He is always in my corner and has always pushed me to do what makes me happy regardless if it is a difficult journey. So here I am now, so grateful for such an amazing opportunity. To give people their self confidence back is the biggest reward! It makes me so happy to be able to help those who are not comfortable in their own skin. Everyone deserves to LOOK the same way they FEEL inside!! This is why I do this. As a nurse it is in my nature to take care of others. I love what I do and am so blessed to be able to do it every single day. Dermatology and Aesthetics is so fulfilling. It isn’t always about the beauty!! For some people, it’s a treatment and a process! Preventative care is so important. There is no dollar amount on your happiness and self confidence. So take care of your skin!! I promise you it will be the best decision you’ve ever made. If you hate your skin and hide behind it, it changes your whole personality/attitude/and demeanor.
