A little pick-me-up quote from one of our favorite corners of our building. 🤍
If you're feeling a little tired from losing that hour of sleep last night, don’t let that stop you from taking on your day with confidence. The time change means more daylight in the evenings, giving us extra sunshine to lift our mood and shake off the winter blues. Sunniy days are ahead! ☀️

Centrally located on the Northwest side of Bexar County in the Medical District
area and co-located with the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors, the Endeavors Veteran Wellness Center (VWC) provides accessible integrated health and wellness services that improve the quality of life for Veterans, their families, military dependents, and the care community.
CURRENT SERVICES
Endeavors Veteran Wellness Center provides telehealth and in-person mental
health services to Veterans and their families who have chronic long-term mental health needs (e.g., bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders).
A peer support specialist will be available to provide encouragement, goal setting, and general recovery guidance to all clients on their path to wellness. The use of a peer support specialist is a unique approach to supporting this population. It will add much-needed access to those clients who have not received services in the past and who need additional services to improve their quality of life.
This program addresses a gap in mental health care across the State by offering long-term care for chronic conditions. Endeavors’ mental health services will also support the recovery of homeless Veteran populations.
THROUGH WELLNESS, WE EMPOWER.
The VWC delivers positive, supportive, and integrated care all in one location to focus on self-care and overall health that enhances daily choices for wellness. Driven by the vision to restore and improve quality of life, our Endeavors Wellness Model represents six principles of wellness.
MIND-BODY: Connects physical fitness, medical, holistic treatments and mental health
care
CONNECTEDNESS: Fostering a basic human need of togetherness with a targeted focus on decreasing isolation
SPIRITUAL: Embracing the spiritual diversity to feed the deepest needs of oneself
ENVIRONMENTAL: Embodied in the purposeful design and function of the overall goal of connecting with the natural world
ECONOMIC: Viewed through the lens of social determinants of health and how finances
impact overall wellness
KNOWLEDGE: Common thread that enhances life and strengthens and supports health

National Guard and Reserves.
