There’s a reason this episode made me smile.

Chef Andrew is still talking about fiber… and this time he brought Marry Me Chickpeas to the table.

Let me tell you a quick story.

A woman once told me, “Kay, I eat healthy… but I’m still bloated, exhausted, and my weight won’t budge.”
When we looked closer, her meals were pretty — but they were missing one quiet hero: fiber.

Not the boring, cardboard kind.
The flavorful, blood-sugar-balancing, hormone-supporting, gut-loving kind.

Enter: Marry Me Chickpeas.

Creamy. Savory. Comforting.
And secretly working behind the scenes to:

• Support healthy digestion
• Feed beneficial gut bacteria
• Help regulate blood sugar
• Improve satiety (so cravings calm down)
• Support estrogen detox pathways
• Promote better body composition (yes — less fat storage, more metabolic efficiency)

Fiber isn’t just about “going to the bathroom.”
It’s about stabilizing your internal chemistry.

Think of fiber like the friend who quietly organizes the chaos at the party. Hormones settle down. Cortisol behaves. Insulin relaxes. Your body feels safe again.

And when the body feels safe?
It lets go of weight.

That’s why I love seeing delicious meals that heal.
Nutrition should taste incredible. Period.

If you’ve been eating “healthy” but still feel stuck with bloating, stubborn weight, or energy crashes, it may not be about eating less…

It may be about eating smarter.

If you’re curious how your gut, hormones, and fiber intake are affecting your metabolism, book a free 15-minute discovery call. Let’s see what your body actually needs.

Because sometimes the difference between frustrated and flourishing…

…is just one chickpea at a time.

I just wrapped an incredible conversation with Karissa Adkins on the Iconic Leadership podcast 🎙️

We went deep into a truth that doesn’t get talked about enough:

Stress rarely shows up labeled as stress.

It shows up as:
• Cardiovascular disease
• IBS
• Hypothyroidism
• Cancer
• Anxiety
• Exhaustion that no amount of sleep fixes

We talked about how self-care isn’t just a massage or a weekend off. It’s leadership. It’s physiology. It’s responsibility.

It’s putting your oxygen mask on first — not as a luxury, but as a requirement.

It’s pausing long enough to breathe.
Resetting your nervous system before your body forces you to.
Recognizing that burnout is not a badge of honor — it’s a warning light.

We also explored identity shifts in leadership — how high-capacity women often lead everyone else beautifully… while abandoning themselves quietly.

And I shared my own story of vertigo that lasted three years — rooted in chronic stress. No diagnostic code for it. Just a nervous system that had been running on high alert for far too long.

This episode is real.
Grounded.
Honest.
Powerful.

I can’t wait for it to go live.

Fiber Maxing: Why Soluble and Insoluble Fiber Both Matter

Most people think fiber is just about staying regular.

But fiber is physiologically active — and different types do different jobs.

In this video, Chef Andrew shows you how to build a high-fiber bread that delivers both soluble and insoluble fiber, because your body needs both to function optimally.

Insoluble fiber
• Adds bulk to stool
• Improves transit time
• Reduces constipation
• Lowers prolonged toxin exposure in the colon

Soluble fiber
• Forms a gel in the gut
• Feeds commensal bacteria
• Produces short-chain fatty acids like butyrate
• Supports gut barrier integrity
• Binds bile acids to help lower LDL cholesterol

When fiber intake is adequate, you’re not just improving elimination — you’re rebuilding microbial balance, reducing overgrowth risk, and supporting cardiometabolic health.

This is strategic nutrition — not just eating “whole grain,” but eating with purpose.
