Here are a few moments from Naomi Shields, MD Foot and Ankle Orthopaedic Surgeon recent trip to Cairo, where she participated in the EGFAS / Ain Shams International Foot & Ankle Congress and spent several days teaching, presenting, and connecting with surgeons from across the globe.

From hospital visits and hands-on labs to international lectures and faculty gatherings, it was an inspiring week dedicated to advancing foot & ankle education worldwide.

We’re proud to share this stunning highlight video from the 7th EGFAS / Ain Shams International Foot & Ankle Congress, where Dr. Naomi Shields served as an invited international faculty member.

The conference brought together more than 200 delegates from 7 countries, with expert faculty representing Egypt, Germany, the UK, Belgium, Brazil, France, Saudi Arabia — and the USA.

International education and global collaboration are a core part of Dr. Shields’ career — and we’re honored to see her impact reach so far.
