This weekend, try to find a little time to rest with your family. Let the chores wait, let the to-do list breathe, and give yourself permission to slow down.

Play a game, watch cartoons, cuddle on the couch, or just enjoy being together.

Here’s to a restful weekend. 💛

Does your child have a sibling with Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD)?

Growing up with a brother or sister who experiences intense emotions can be confusing and isolating.

We are putting together a DMDD Sibling Support Group for kids ages 8 to 12.

In this group, siblings can:

- Share their feelings with others who understand

- Learn strategies to stay safe and advocate for themselves

Give your child a space to talk, learn, and feel understood.

Don't Avoid the Talk: Puberty is Coming, Ready or Not! 😬

Puberty can feel like an awkward topic, but it's one every parent and child has to face. It’s not just about physical changes — emotional well-being and social challenges are also a big part of the journey.

The good news is, there are fun, age-appropriate resources to help you start the conversation and answer questions without the cringe factor (well, at least a little less! 😅).

Here are some useful resources to help guide you through the conversation:

📖 Guy Stuff: The Body Book for Boys by Cara Natterson and Micah Player

📖 You-ology: A Puberty Guide for Every Body by Melisa Holmes, MD, Trish Hutchison, MD, Kathryn Lowe, MD

🧑‍⚕️ HealthyChildren.org: A trusted resource from the American Academy of Pediatrics to help parents understand what’s normal during puberty and guide the conversation with their kids.
