Become A Personal Care Attendant Personal care attendants - also known as personal care assistants, community attendants and direct care service workers - help people with disabilities live independently in their own homes and communities. Personal care attendants work directly for our agency.
Personal care attendants may: Assist person with dressing, bathing, cooking, feeding, shopping and walking. Assist person with self-administered medications. Es**rt person to activities and appointments. Perform light housekeeping duties.
