🙌🏼 TRUTH.

There’s a difference between making peace and keeping peace.
Peacemakers address conflict. They speak truth in love. They confront sin and call people to righteousness - even when it’s uncomfortable.

Peacekeepers avoid conflict at all costs.

They sweep problems under the rug, pretend everything is fine, and sacrifice truth for temporary calm.
Peace-fakers smile while dying inside.

They nod and agree while their souls scream “this isn’t right.”
Jesus was a peacemaker. He confronted the Pharisees, overturned tables in the temple, and spoke hard truths that made people uncomfortable. He didn’t avoid conflict - He addressed it with love and truth.

Matthew 5:9 calls us “blessed” when we’re peacemakers - not when we’re silent enablers of dysfunction.

Friend, if you’ve been disappearing yourself to avoid conflict, that’s not godly submission - that’s fear. If you’ve been pretending everything is fine while chaos reigns, that’s not keeping peace - that’s keeping secrets.

God didn’t call you to be a doormat. He called you to be a peaceMAKER.
Sometimes making peace requires breaking the false peace first.
