As a Music Therapist working in hospice, you know your patients are going to die, you just don’t know when. Today i had the privilege of helping one of my long term patients find her way home. Most of the time my patients are not in service for 4.5+!years, but sometimes they are.

I thank the family for the privilege of serving your mother, and Vitas Hospice San Antonio for the privilege of serving our patients. I am sad right now, but also very grateful to help my fitness find calm and piece as they leave this human world and find their way to their heavenly place.

A-Z Music Therapy Services, LLC, and Music Therapy Worx are seeking a Board Certified Music Therapist to assist with coverage of Music Therapy Clients in San Antonio, TX and surrounding areas
The therapists responsibilities will include treatment in a home health based practice, corresponding documentation, reports, and additional documentation for the Client. u
Clientele that will be services include but are not limited to School Districts, Hospice Agencies, and other agencies that service individuals with a wide variety of disabilities including but not limited to Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, and Rhett Syndrome.
The clients are seen in their homes and facilities. As a contractor, the therapist sets their own schedules, holidays and vacations are flexible, and there is assistance available from other Music Therapists in the area for guidance and education.
The applicant must have completed the Music Therapy Degree Requirements and Internship, Have the minimum of a Bachelors Degree, hold a Board Certification. The applicant must also be self-motivated and have reliable transportation.
Pay Rate: $50/hr

A-Z Music Therapy Services is seeking Board Certified Music Therapists to fill a contract music therapist position in San Antonio, TX. The clientele serviced by A-Z Music Therapy Services include but are not limited to Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Medical Settings, School Districts, Older Adults, and Hospice.
You will be responsible for providing client services, documentation, and scheduling of the clients/patients.
Must have Board Certification with the Certification Board of Music Therapist and have reliable transportation.
