Happy Family Friday!
WHO is the new girl, you ask? It’s Lauren, who is back home for the summer, so she’s working at the office and helping out!
🎓 Lauren just finished her freshman year at Texas A&M “👍🏼”
👩‍🏫 She’s studying Engineering and planning to study Material Science and Engineering in the fall.
📚 She loves reading books especially crime and mystery novels 🕵️‍♀️
🍿Watching scary movies is her favorite
♣️ If her major isn’t keeping her busy enough, Kappa Delta, the sorority she’s now a member of, will!
☕️ She enjoys going to coffee shops with her dad, Dr. Charlie

Happy Family Friyay!

TODAY’s Man of the Hour is Dr. Charlie! You’ll see him adjusting and chatting away with people all day long. You may not be able to tell, but he is also the man behind the scenes who runs a tight ship at the office, which allows him to take great care of people and improve their quality of life.

📚 He Graduated with a Master’s of Physical Therapy in 1998. (🥸 Never thought he would be a chiropractor. He thought chiropractors were quacks!)
👨🏼‍⚕️📚But in 2008, he went back to school to become a Chiropractor and he says it was the BEST CAREER DECISION he’s ever made.
“I wish more people knew about how amazing chiropractic is. It’s not just about pain relief. It’s about helping the person be a healthier, more energetic, fit, and happier version of themselves.”
🏋🏼The man LOVES working out. He works out at the gym almost every day and can turn anything into a workout. He will turn a lazy day at the river into a workout!
☕️ Coffee is his addiction.
👩🏻‍❤️‍👨🏼 He loves spending time with his wife (Dr. Aimee). They love working out together, cooking together, going on walks, traveling, and now WORKING together! 😱
Dr Charlie has two daughters he is proud of.
👧🏼 Kara, his oldest, was inspired by her Dad to become a chiropractor too, and as a graduate of A&M, is now over halfway done with Chiropractic School.
👧🏼 Lauren, his younger daughter, is an Engineering major at Texas A&M. She’ll be helping us out over the summer!

Happy Family Friday!
We can’t let Dr. Karla leave without dedicating our Family Friday to her!

She has always had a passion for helping others. Then, she became an assistant for Dr. Charlie several years ago, and was treated by him for her chronic migraines. While working here, she saw and experienced how Dr. Charlie’s approach was able to help so many people improve their quality of life, as well as her own. That’s when she knew she found the career she needed to be in.
She became a chiropractor ❤️☺️

Here’s a little more about her:
🚶🏻‍♀️In her spare time, she likes taking long walks with her fiance
👩🏻‍🍳 She loves finding new restaurants to try
🧩 and doing legos and puzzles at home
📚 She came back to help us out a little after completing her studies at Parker University College of Chiropractic (thank you, Dr. Karla!) ❤️
💪🏽 🤯 She is now working on her Masters Human Strength and Performance at Parker.
🐶 Her furry little one is named Bandit and…
🌟👶🏻 She has a human little one on the way!!

Sadly (for us!), she and her fiancee (who also just graduated from Chiropractic school) have plans to move on in a few weeks, and we are so very grateful for all of the time she’s spent helping us out at the office as they transition to their next phase in their lives. But their future is super bright 🌟, and we are so happy for them! So help us give her a warm farewell before her fiancée whisks her away with him.

Happy Family Friday!!
Hold on to your horses 🏇 ya’ll, I’ve got the newest member of our team to tell you about today! You’ll see her training with Jocelyn or Amy or Matthew, and soaking up as much knowledge as she can to help out at the office!

🏡 Alex is originally from Laredo, Tx and moved to San Antonio very recently in August
🇲🇽 She is a first generation mexican American as her parents are from Tamaulipas, Mexico
📚As a freshman at UTSA majoring in biology, her plan is to become an orthopedic surgeon 👩🏻‍⚕️
🛋️ She loves to stay at home to relax with friends way more than going out
🌟🏇 She’s been a barrel racer since the age of 5 and and has participated in stock shows ever since high school !! 🤯

Do we have the most amazing staff members, or do we have the most amazing staff members? We are so blessed to have her on our team helping to make our office the best place to get corrective chiropractic care in San Antonio!
