Treatment hierarchies are built-in with developmentally appropriate activities, including “floor time”, where children learn best. April believes families are instrumental in building a child’s skills. April actively supports parental and caregiver involvement in the treatment process to increase opportunities for skills to be reinforced within the child’s daily environment/activities and provide for greater carryover of skills to the home environment. April holds Master's degrees in Speech-Language Pathology and Clinical Psychology. She has over 30 years of experience in the field, specializing in individuals who present with learning, behavior, and emotional difficulties. Therapists at Greater Learning LP hold Master's degrees in Speech-Language pathology, are licensed by the state of Texas, and are certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.

🌿 Therapist Thursday: Meet Krista Neugebauer, RD 🌿

We’re excited to introduce Krista Neugebauer, a compassionate and skilled Registered Dietitian who brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to nutrition and wellness.
Krista received her bachelor’s degree from Texas State University and completed her Registered Dietitian Internship through the University of Houston in 2014. Since then, she’s gained valuable experience working in both eating disorder clinics and private practice settings.

Krista is well-versed in working with:
✅ Disordered eating
✅ Food aversions
✅ A wide range of nutrition-related diagnoses

Her approach is all about personalized nutrition education and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore challenges and uncertainties around food.

✨ Whether you're rebuilding your relationship with food or navigating complex dietary needs, Krista is here to support you with empathy, expertise, and care.

Outside of work, Krista enjoys baking, cooking, and staying active with her husband and kids—a true believer in balance and joyful living.
