Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery - UT Dentistry San Antonio The Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is a clinical practice of The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Our Surgeons practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal. We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries and TMJ disorders, and perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures. We have Board-Certified Faculty surgeons as well as Resident surgeons all working together in our brand new state-of-the-art clinic. You can see either a resident (licensed dentist training to be an oral and maxillofacial surgeon) or a faculty surgeon. All residents are supervised by faculty surgeons. We have faculty members who are specialists in oral and maxillofacial surgery, a prosthodontist (specialist in restoring or replacing teeth) and an orthodontist (specialist in moving teeth with braces).

Because we can’t stop UT OMS SA join the front line

Advanced education students from across the UT Health San Antonio campuses have joined the front lines in the fight against COVID-19. Jason Jones, DDS, MD, and Adam Wandell, DDS, MD, both residents in the oral and maxillofacial program, share their experiences at University Hospital.

Come join us tomorrow night for the METAMORPHOSIS GALA! A Special Charity Event celebrating the 27 years of the Healing the Children Surgical Mission to Neiva, Colombia. All proceeds will go directly to Healing the Children to continue to support the care and supplies needed to help these children with cleft lip/palate and other craniofacial and orthopedic deformities. You won’t regret it ! We still have booths available for $200/booth for up to 6 people, to include a liquor bottle for the table of your choice.
