I’m so excited to be a special speaker at Welbing Postnatal House’s Mommy & Me Social Hour on May 20th!

I’ll be talking all about what a doula actually does, how doulas support women through pregnancy, birth + postpartum, and why support during motherhood matters so much. 🌿

This is a FREE outdoor gathering for expecting moms, postpartum moms, and little ones to come connect, breathe, ask questions, and be poured into.

There will be light refreshments, meaningful conversation, community, and such a beautiful space for mothers. I’m truly honored to be part of this. 🤎

Every time a woman gives birth… a new version of her is born too.

This was my second time giving birth, and it still changed me.

If you listen closely in this video, you can hear my breathing. That breathing carried me through every wave. In birth, your breath becomes your anchor, it grounds you, centers you, and helps your body do exactly what it was created to do.

Birth has a way of humbling you and empowering you all at the same time. It shows you a strength you didn’t even know was inside of you.

Every birth transforms a woman in some way.

In honor of International Women’s Month, I’m celebrating the power of women and the sacred work our bodies are capable of.

Birth is powerful. And so are we. 🤎

This is what support in labor can look like.
• Deep, steady breathing�• Counter pressure on the hips�• A partner fully involved

As baby descends, that intense back/hip pressure can build. Counter pressure helps create relief and gives mama something to lean into during contractions.

Birth is not meant to be done alone.
�It’s meant to be supported.
