It is with deep disappointment that the Texas Cavaliers announce the cancellation of the 81st Annual River Parade. Out of an abundance of caution, the City of San Antonio has issued a cancellation order, and we must respect this decision. The safety and well-being of our participants, guests, volunteers, and the broader community remains our highest priority.
While every detail had been thoughtfully prepared and the event was ready to proceed, this decision is ultimately beyond our control. We are committed to adhering to all city directives and safety regulations.
Despite this setback, we are proud to share that this year’s efforts have successfully raised more than $3 million for children’s charities across our community. That impact will not be canceled. Our mission to support and uplift the children of San Antonio continues, and we are grateful for the generosity and support that made this possible.
We appreciate the understanding of our community and look forward to celebrating together again next year!
