Dr. Matt Bindewald, Plastic Surgeon San Antonio Drawing on more than 15 years of surgical experience, Dr. Bindewald uses his skills in both aestheti Burns School of Medicine.

Dr. Bindewald is a double board certified plastic surgeon based in San Antonio, TX. He is the head of the San Antonio Plastic Surgery Center, which has been well-known in San Antonio for decades. He hails from the Big Island of Hawaii, where he attended the prestigious Hawaii Preparatory Academy. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Colorado, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in chemical and biomedical engineering. Dr. Bindewald then returned to Hawaii for medical school, graduating with honors from The University of Hawaii John A. He completed general surgery training in Santa Barbara, CA. This is also where he met his wife, also a well-respected surgeon in San Antonio. He served as a general surgeon in the United States Navy for four years before returning for additional training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center.

Dr Matt Bindewald is a board certified former military plastic and reconstructive surgeon. If you or a loved one has a plastic surgery need please feel free to schedule a consultation with Dr Bindewald. His practice encompasses many different aspects of plastic surgery including, but not limited to breast surgery (augmentation, lifts, reductions and reconstruction after mastectomy), body contouring after weight loss, abdominoplasty (tummy tucks), arm lifts, thigh lifts, skin cancer excision, reconstruction after Mohs procedures, management of traumatic injuries and wound care. In addition, we offer a variety of facial fillers and injectables. Many procedures are covered by insurance. Urgent and emergent appointments are available.
