Inspired by the challenge to take care of my 90 year old disabled mother, I decided to expand and extend my time to help others in assisting with their basic daily living activities. I now offer my own home to cater the needs of people who wants as much independence as they want with the knowledge that personal care and support services are available if and when they needed

them. RHC is an assisted living residence that will be there for you to provide comfortable place to live in and gives daily support services that do not required 24-hour nursing care. RHC will shelter Type A Assisted living. The physical environment offers a more home-like setting that is very much like a family . General information

Resident Membership 1.Individuals needing personal support services on their basic daily activities. 2.Ambulatory individuals or ambulatory with assisted devices like walkers and canes. 3.Individuals with full awareness of their own actions. 4.Comprehensive physical and health assessment from their doctor. 5.Completion of resident application, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) form, living will, SPA, guardianship, etc. Services provided 1. Home cooked Daily meals - 3 times a day 2. In -between snacks - 2 times a day 3. Assistance with basic activities of daily living (ADL) a.Bathing b.Dressing c.Feeding d.Transfer/Ambulation e.Routine hair/skin care f.Toileting g.Supervising/monitoring medications h.Others ( as per individual requests/needs) 4. Grooming (haircut, manicure, pedicure, etc) 5. Personal laundry services to include weekly linen and as needed 6. Bed Room cleaning 7. Ordering refills of medications 8. Escorting to doctor’s appointment 9. Shopping companion 10. In-house movies and music 11. Exercising/walking 12. All utilities paid except private phones 13. Assist in personal bill payments 14. Others (as requested) Other Tangible Features: 1. Home like atmosphere with own living area where you can watch movies and listen to your favorite music. 2. Open air patio where you can eat your first meal of the day. 3. Well maintained landscaping where you can enjoy your love of greeneries and seasonal flowers. 4. Single bedroom occupancy with air-con, hospital bed, and ceiling fan for your private moments. 5. Also available – Double bedroom occupancy if you prefer a companion to talk to and share your private moments. Payment It is typically paid from your private funds, but there are some exceptions. Some long-term care insurance policies cover this type of assisted living arrangements. Another way is thru Medicaid. If you qualify, Medicaid funds and waivers are available to help with assisted living cost .
