To say we are blessed is an understatement 🥹🙌🏼

We recently had the opportunity to teach a group of some pretty amazing homeschoolers. Emergency preparedness is something our family is truly passionate about, and teaching this group was such a heartwarming experience!

Watching them be so attentive to class was definitely one for the books!

Our main goal in teaching is to ensure all of our students have the best possible learning experience. We strive to give each student the opportunity to practice hands-on as an individual and in a group setting.

Anything can happen in an instant, and now these kiddos are better prepared. Our classes are for everyone, the new parents, prepared teachers, eager babysitters, and busy nurses. You name it, we got you covered!

It has been a while since we have posted on here, life has been very busy between classes and running Hideaway Homestead .

I noticed we have quite a bit of new friends, so I figured it was time we reintroduce ourselves!

Hello! We are Jonathan and Tina Torres!🙋🏾‍♂️🙋🏽‍♀️

For those of you who don't know, Healing Hearts CPR is a Veteran owned, family operated business that has been going strong teaching all over the state of Texas since 2017. We are nationally accredited through the American Heart Association and ProTraining.

We travel all over the state of Texas (and even the country if need be) teaching the importance of emergency preparedness.

Our lead instructor is a Navy Corpsman Veteran, was a firefighter for the refineries and an EMT giving him over 14 years of hands on experience in emergency medicine. Our goal as a family and a business is to teach proper quick response care with our first aid and cpr courses.

From the busy nurses, new parents, excited homeschoolers and even the eager new babysitter our classes are for EVERYONE!! We will bring all of our equipment and teach you how to properly use it to keep you and your family prepared!

Do you know the difference between a minor and major allergic reaction? 🤔

Do you know the signs of a life threatening reaction? Or what to do if the situation arises?

Speaking from experience, a severe allergic reaction can happen in a matter of minutes, from an itchy ear and throat to not being able to breathe.

During our hands on First Aid and CPR class our instructors will teach you the signs/symptoms of a minor vs major allergic reaction and what to do in those situations.

We received a phone call I will never forget.

As some of you may know my husband and I have been running Healing Hearts for about 6 years; with Jonathan having 12+ years experience in the medical field. It all started with getting nurses their credentials updated when I was at my desk job for a home health company and it has turned into a widespread First Aid and CPR learning experience for EVERYONE.

We teach families; the anxious parents, the eager babysitter, the boy/girl scout looking to go on an adventure; the importance of education and preparedness for those unfortunate situations.

Why? Because its not an emergecy until it happens to you.

Back to my phone call. ☎️

One of our students called us crying, she took our class just hours before an unfortunate incident happened to her daughter. She explained that she didnt freeze; she handled the situation with ease and had a straight mindset on what to do. She was able to evaluate her daughter and use what we taught her during class.
She continued to say if she hadn't taken our class she wouldn't have known what to do and she would have panicked. She said when the EMTs arrived they confirmed that her daughter had a severe concussion and that she did everything right. Her daughter is now okay and she is ready to take our class again.

This right here is why we do what we do. We want our students to leave class confident and ready for those unfortunate situations.
Anything can happen to anyone and in today's world we need to empower ourselves. We need to make sure that when those unexpected accidents happen we have the skills, education and the confidence to save eachother and ourselves.

Happy New Year from our family owned business! 🎆🎇

We have closed the door on 2023, and it was definitely a year of changes for us. We moved away from the big city🌃 and started our journey in a small town🌅 right outside of San Antonio. We traveled all over Texas to complete multiple classes laat year, and we will continue to do so this year!!

From Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and all the way to Houston, we are encouraged to teach everyone the importance of emergency preparedness with our first aid and CPR classes. We have bigger goals this year as a small business, one of which will be to add new towns and cities to our map! 🚗🗺

Hello friends!👋🏽

We are officially moved in & are so excited to start our journey here! We are more than happy to travel all over San Antonio and the surrounding areas to continue our emergency preparedness teaching journey just like we did in Houston!

Our first aid and CPR classes are so much more than watching a video and trying to remember steps, we teach hands on classes with open discussions as well as encouraged questions! We want our students to leave our class confident and ready for those unfortunate events!

**After proper planning, we will happily accommodate scheduled group classes for all areas including Corpus, Houston and their surrounding areas.☺️
