Liza is deeply respected and loved by her team — known for her passion, kindness, and unwavering professionalism. She brings a warm smile and genuine care to every patient and colleague she encounters.

Beyond work, Liza is the heart of her family and a proud mom to her daughter Ciara, who recently graduated from nursing school. She and her husband Tony celebrated 29 years of marriage this past May — and when it comes to travel, Bora Bora has her heart (she’s been twice!). 🏖️✨

Whether she’s enjoying concerts, cheering at baseball games, or caring for her beloved pets, Liza radiates compassion in everything she does.

Kanisha brings extensive experience in recruitment, employee development, workforce planning, and more—driving HR success across healthcare, government, and beyond. 🏥💼 She holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Management and proudly served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army.

Originally from Colorado, Kanisha recently relocated to Texas to be closer to family. She’s a proud mom of three teens, enjoys paddle boarding, and is learning to snowboard!

🥑 Have you heard of “avocado hand?” 🖐️

It is very common for patients to come into our ERs because they cut their hand while slicing an avocado. It’s so common, in fact, that we’ve named the injury “avocado hand!” They’re incredibly slippery!

Be safe when slicing those little green nuggets of gold. If you happen to suffer a knife mishap injury, head to a Complete Care ER ASAP. We’ll get you fixed up in no time!

What a Week! 🔥 A Look Back at All the Action!

Last week was packed with excitement, collaboration, and community spirit!

We kicked things off with a productive PTA meeting with NISD, where powerful conversations took place and ideas were shared to help strengthen support for our students and schools. 💡📚

Midweek brought a moment we’ll never forget—our Plaque and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony! 💙✂️ The turnout was incredible, and the energy was nothing short of amazing. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate this milestone with us. Your support means the world!

And we wrapped it all up in true San Antonio style—under the lights at the San Antonio Gunslingers game! 🏈 The energy, the fans, the fun—it was the perfect way to close out such a memorable week.
