The delivery Technician is responsible for the day to day deliveries of equipment and supplies to patients home or medical facilities. On-call required, training provided. Must have overall knowledge of the city and ability to use GPS. Valid drivers license required, must pass background check and be covid vaccinated.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Facilitate the flow of information with the department to successfully deliver all equipment in a proper and prompt way.
2. Must maintain the delivery or driving logs required by law.
3. Must have the ability to repair hardware and to work closely with service vendors to ensure continuity of services.
4. Ability to install, evaluate and maintain DME/ Respiratory equipment.
5. Must have knowledge of the sanitizing methods for cleaning any returned used equipment.
6. Will take on-call as directed by supervisor.
7. Maintain a positive upbeat and helpful attitude when interacting with customers and any referral sources.
8. Will exhibit good interpersonal relationship skills, written and verbal communications.
9. Must posses a valid state issued Driver’s License.
10. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
11. Will perform other related duties as assigned and required.
12. Will ensure deliveries and pickup tickets are accounted for and turned in at the end of each business day.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:This position requires standing, sitting, talking and hearing. The employee is required to use reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch. May be required to work in confined spaces and climb to the top of shelves. May be required to lift up to 70 lbs. without assistance. Will be required to drive for long periods of times and may also be required to travel out of town.
WORK HOUR REQUIREMENTSMonday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:High School Diploma and 1-2 years experience as a courier or delivery person

Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
