Friendly reminder that now is the time to get your flu vaccine, especially if you're age 65 and older. The CDC recommends getting vaccinated in the fall during September or October. 💉✅ Getting a flu shot can keep you from getting sick with the flu, and reduce the risk of severe illness or hospitalization from the flu. Stay healthy, friends! 💙

We're debunking common myths and misconceptions about home care! One that we hear often is "home care is only for people with chronic illnesses or people recovering from surgery" - which is not true! 👎❌

While home care is helpful for chronic illness and recovery, it's also still beneficial for individuals who need help with daily activities that allow for more independence. This includes help with bathing, meal preparation, transportation to appointments, and light house-keeping. 👍✅
