This poor cockatiel produced her very first egg and it caused her to become egg bound because of it's massive size compared to her body. After some mild sedation and a small incision, the egg was gently removed and she is back on the road to recovery.

This sweet little guinea pig was urinating blood and very uncomfortable when Dr. Byrd palpated her belly. An x-ray didn't show a stone but a targeted ultrasound revealed a very thickened bladder! After prescribing antibiotics and some medication for pain, we hope she feels better soon!

The next few weeks this sweet girl will spend time in steam baths having daily warm soaks to help hydrate her and soften her eye caps while she also receives specific therapy for her conditions. We'll keep you posted on her progress! Feel better Monty (python)!
