What is avascular necrosis (AVN) and when does it lead to hip replacement?
As Dr. Broome explains, AVN happens when the bone beneath the joint loses blood supply and begins to break down. If caught early, there may be options to slow progression. But once the joint collapses, hip replacement becomes the most effective way to restore mobility and relieve pain.

The goal is simple: get you back to moving comfortably again.
If you’re dealing with persistent hip pain, don’t wait to get answers.

How do injectable peptides actually work?

As Dr. Broome explains, peptides are naturally occurring signaling molecules in the body that help regulate inflammation and healing. By introducing specific peptides, we can enhance your body’s natural response, helping reduce inflammation and support recovery after injury or surgery.

It’s a science-backed approach focused on working with your body, not against it.
If you’re looking for advanced, non-surgical options to support healing and recovery, we’re here to help.

More than just care, this is family. 💗

Our team had the privilege of joining one of Dr. Harris’ patients at the Paint the Parkway Pink Run, standing beside her not just as providers, but as supporters every step of the way, an experience we were honored to be part of last October.

At San Antonio Orthopaedic Specialists, we’re proud to walk with our patients through life’s challenges and celebrate their victories right alongside them.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.
