Stress doesn’t always look like crying.
In babies, it often shows up as subtle signs that the nervous system is overwhelmed and stuck in “fight, flight, or freeze.”
You might see it as:
• Difficulty latching or staying latched
• Trouble sleeping or needing constant motion to settle
• Reflux, gassiness, or constipation
• Preferring one head position (torticollis)
• Startling easily or arching their back
These are all ways a baby’s body says, “I don’t feel safe or regulated.”
During birth and early development, the nervous system is still learning how to adapt. If tension or misalignment interfere with the vagus nerve or spinal communication, babies can struggle to shift into a calm, parasympathetic state.
Gentle pediatric chiropractic adjustments help release that stored tension and restore balance—allowing the body to regulate digestion, sleep, and emotion naturally.
