MY 2026 FOOT-CARE RESOLUTIONS
1. Regular Foot Inspections: Commit to checking your feet daily for any signs of issues such as cuts, blisters, or other abnormalities, especially if you have diabetes or circulation issues.
2. Proper Footwear: Invest in quality footwear that provides proper support and fits well. Consider getting professionally fitted for shoes to avoid discomfort.
3. Daily Foot Hygiene: Establish a routine for washing your feet with soap and warm water daily, drying them thoroughly, and moisturizing to prevent cracking.
4. Moisturizing: Use a good foot cream to keep your skin hydrated, but avoid applying it between your toes to prevent fungal infections.
5. Regular Pedicures: Treat yourself to regular pedicures. This not only makes your feet look good but can also help maintain nail health and hygiene.
6. Stretching and Strengthening: Incorporate foot exercises into your routine to improve strength and flexibility. This can help prevent injuries.
7. Healthy Lifestyle: Maintain a balanced diet and hydrate well. Good nutrition can positively impact skin and nail health.
8. Foot Care Awareness: Educate yourself on common foot problems and their prevention. Knowing what to look for can help you catch issues early.

Aspirers Athletics Club is rapidly evolving into a premier youth-to-pro ecosystem in Dominica. The club's 2026 roster includes a diverse mix of young athletes, from novices to seasoned competitors. Notable athletes such as Jaden Joseph, a national record holder in the U-18 boys Long Jump, Luan Gabriel, a former Olympian and Carifta gold medalist, and Chris Toussaint, a national record holder in the U-18 boys 400m, exemplify the talent and potential nurtured within the club.

With over fifty athletes, the Aspirers Athletics Club invites families to get involved, whether by enrolling their children to train and compete or by partnering with the club to support its mission. Together, we can create dynamic opportunities that empower our youth and strengthen our community through the spirit of athletics.
