Independent Speak!
By Lovely lady poet
The words you speak,
They do creep
Up my spine
Into my head
Above the sky
To cross that line
Of independent speak.
When I was a child
You read to me.
Made decisions
Best for me.
Gave to me
the Seeds of Remembrance.
Aradass Bhae~ blessings flow
Through my spine
from lessons grown
out of the past and into me
from Divine Intervene.
When I was a child
I read the spines
of books as I sat like
a child in punishment.
Written there
were your words
in different types and
different sets.
Books on a long hall shelf
with open spines
you left for me
to interpret
my own openness.
Unlocked in later years
only to read
what you had said
in all those lessons
as punishment.
Ardas Bhee~ blessings flow
Spines on a wall
They do crawl
Up and down
and on their sides.
Words fill the empty
Spacesof my mind and
Plant the knowledge of time.
Supplant within my spine
the maps of life,
a treasure hold,
for all to behold
words written by Rumi,
Gibran, Buddha, Jabir,
Krishna and his magic flute –music in and about
the ability to see
down into my spine
from the inside out.
Aradass Bhae~ blessings flow
From books that spoke
your words to me
from beyond time
back before the beginning edge
back before the stars grew
into our Earthly planet.
Back from what I already knew
You said, that was all inside me,
New.
In those books I found
As I looked behind
Into my spin was
Deliverance,
A freedom, and a calling
The bone collector’s
Dance of Freedom
bringing flesh to me
breath to be in me
and straighten my
spine for reading
along the lines of
integrity.
Aradass Bhae~ blessings flow
“Broken spines will mend,”
you said.
Your love gave more
than I could hope.
Encouragement
and life’s full scope.
Your heart gave more than shelter, unabridged and unbroken.
Unconditional and eternal.
Your words taught me more
Than ideas .
Philosophers Diamond
And bread for life.
No one else could
understand the
writings on my spine.
But upon your lips
you spoke to me
of things that are a trilogy
the trinity and align
the Divine in all and in me.
You spoke in a language of Inheritance, Love and
Lineage, and of good grace.
To get to know myself was
to know who loves me best.
What you taught
was not arrogance
but a way to live my life
without ignorance,
unveiled with bravado,
as if someone watched
my every step.
Aradass Bhae~ blessings flow
A sacred union is Divine.
I understand now everything
There, written upon my spine.
There is where
Everything lies that
I will ever need to know.
