Blossom's mission is to provide meaningful lasting results and hope for the future for children with autism through a unique and engaging play-based method of applied behavior analysis! At Blossom, we are committed to providing comprehensive, medically necessary, play-based and effective treatment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. As a whole, Blossom is dedicated to providing hope to the

parents and caregivers we serve, as well as lasting results through a unique approach to early, intensive services for children with autism spectrum disorder. We do offer and currently conduct telehealth caregiver sessions in addition to our face-to-face services at our Houston and San Antonio locations. Intake 0-10 Years Old! We are currently in network with: BCBS, Tricare, United Behavioral Health/Optum, Humana, Community First- Commercial Health Plans, Private Pay, Magellan, Aetna

Helpful Tips✨
1. Prep Ahead with Visuals
Use a visual schedule or social story to walk your child through what to expect: loud noises, crowds, changes in routine. Predictability = safety.

2. Offer Noise-Canceling Headphones
Fireworks can be overwhelming. Headphones or earplugs help reduce sensory overload and let your child participate more comfortably.

3. Have a Safe “Escape Plan”
Designate a quiet zone or sensory corner, whether at home, a park, or in the car. Let your child know it’s always okay to take a break.

4. Bring Sensory Tools
Pack calming favorites like fidgets, chewies, weighted items, or sensory bottles. These can regulate and ground your child during overstimulating moments.

5. Mind the Clothing
Festive outfits are cute, but comfort is key. Avoid scratchy tags, tight waistbands, or stiff fabrics. Let them choose what feels good.

6. Celebrate in Your Own Way
Skipping the big fireworks show? That’s okay. Glow sticks, bubbles, and quiet backyard fun can be just as magical (and more sensory-friendly).

7. Reinforce with Praise
If your child navigates a challenging sensory moment or tries something new, send them praise! For example: “I love how you told me you needed a break, that’s great communication!”
