Army Residence Community Residency at the ARC is now open to members of the general public who are 62 years of age or older.

Located in northeast San Antonio, the ARC is convenient to the I-35 corridor and just a short drive to SAMC and other military bases. ¡Viva Fiesta! The spirit of San Antonio took over the Assisted Living and Healthcare today in a spectacular explosion of color and culture. Surrounded by vibrant banderitas, festive hats, and bright necklaces, our residents and staff enjoyed a lively afternoon filled with the soulful sounds of live Mariachis and a delicious spread of traditional Fiesta favorites. It was a beautiful day of music, community, and smiles, and we are so grateful to our amazing team and residents for making this celebration truly unforgettable!

After 39 years of serving the community, the is now welcoming the general public, inviting all seniors aged 62 and older to join the waitlist for its 138-acre San Antonio campus. As the largest individually owned, single-site retirement community in Texas, the ARC provides a comprehensive "one-stop shop" that allows residents to age in place by offering independent living, assisted living, and nursing care all within a single location. There is nothing quite like watching this little family settle in by the water to remind us why life here is so special. After 15 incredible years of keeping the running smoothly, Manuel is officially hanging up his keys and heading into a well-deserved retirement! Manuel, you have been so much more than a custodian to us. You’ve been a friendly face in the halls, a helping hand around the corner, and quite simply, one of the coolest guys on campus. Army Residence Community is an active, modern Continuing Care Retirement Community rich in tradition. We are a Life Plan Community offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation for retired career military officers of all branches of service, their spouses, and widows. We are currently home to over 750 residents who are enjoying the ease of retirement with the camaraderie of friend with whom they share a patriotic legacy.
