Our "12 Days of Christmas" celebration at our Healthcare and Crestway Assisted Living was a blast, and our hearts are as full as our cocoa mugs! From the Sassy Sisters' sweet dance numbers to the lovely voices of the 4th and 5th-grade choirs, our halls were ringing with music. We stayed busy with creative cookie decorating, festive holiday games, a fully stocked hot chocolate bar, and heartwarming performances from local carolers. And of course, the man of the hour—Santa—made a memorable trip to visit our residents! Thank you to everyone who made this season so bright.

What happens when you give a group of creative kids and fun-loving residents cutout cookies, a mountain of icing, sprinkles, gummies, and chocolate candies? Pure JOY! Chef Pasquale Loera’s Teaching Kitchen hosted the superstars from The Little Engine Learning Center. There’s nothing quite like the sound of laughter and the sight of sprinkles everywhere to brighten up the day. Seeing our residents and the children bond over cupcakes and cookies reminded us all that you’re never too old—or too young—to be a master cookie decorator.

Ho, ho, ho! Look who flew in from Windcrest to spread some holiday cheer! The legendary Windcrest Santa took a little detour from the "City of Lights" to visit his favorite heroes at the , and let's say he brought enough joy to fill a cargo plane! We were honored to have Roxana Delgado, Ph.D., lead our "Caring for the Caregiver" program in our community, where she shared practical strategies for navigating the holiday season. The session was filled with heartfelt conversations and cherished memories, fostering a deep sense of connection among all who attended. The program concluded on a joyful note with a music-filled art activity that brought vibrant color, creativity, and smiles to our caregivers' spaces. Also worth mentioning was COL (Dr.) Huebner's collaboration with the "Caring for the Caregiver" program, being a valuable support and asset to the endeavor.
