It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Housekeeping Director, Elida Longoria—our cherished colleague, mentor, and friend. Elida has gone home to be with the Lord after 36 years of truly devoted service and deep care for everyone here at the Army Residence Community (ARC).

For almost four decades, Elida was a vibrant and dedicated soul, a constant source of kindness and strength to our entire community. We were all incredibly blessed to have her as a part of our lives; it was impossible not to be inspired by her positive attitude, wisdom, and grace. Her presence genuinely brightened our halls every single day, and her profound care touched the lives of countless residents and staff alike.

She will always be remembered, not only for her tireless dedication and hard work but, more importantly, for the warmth, joy, and compassion she brought into our lives. Elida's presence will be deeply missed, but the beautiful legacy she built will remain an inspiration to all of us who knew her.

As we navigate this difficult time, please keep Elida's family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. We will be honoring Elida's remarkable life and contributions in the days to come.

Thrilled to announce the successful ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new Art Studio! Located in the High Rise Room 427, the studio is now officially open as a vibrant venue for the incredible creative minds of our community, where they can showcase their amazing works, including paintings, photography, needlework, and much more. Army Residence Community is an active, modern Continuing Care Retirement Community rich in tradition. We are a Life Plan Community offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation for retired career military officers of all branches of service, their spouses, and widows. We are currently home to over 750 residents who are enjoying the ease of retirement with the camaraderie of friend with whom they share a patriotic legacy.
