A Balanced Child, PLLC Helping children reach their highest potential by partnering with their families to create a balance Group Play is included in Treatment Plan for ABA services.

Our goal is to provide early intervention and therapy to children with developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disorders, and behavioral concerns. We focus on all areas of development: language, motor, behavior, academics, social and adaptive skills. We partner with families and guide them through the services provided to create a balanced approach. Services in ABA and Group Play include: Consulting with families and their community (school, daycare, etc), Assessments, creation and implementation of Early Intervention Plan or Behavior Intervention Treatment Plan, and Parent Training. We currently provide services in clinic, school and community settings, for families in the San Antonio and surrounding areas, as well as the South Texas Valley area. Call us for more information.

Please vote for this:
Earlier this morning, HB 813 was voted favorably out of the House Insurance Committee and is headed to the House floor. HB 813 aligns the current Texas Autism Insurance mandate with federal mental health parity law by removing outdated and discriminatory coverage limitations, including annual dollar caps and age of diagnosis requirements. The bill also contains an inclusive definition of autism spectrum disorder to be consistent with and inclusive of the advances in how autism is diagnosed.

This bill helps ensure that Texas health plans comply with federal law and makes it easier to report violations to the Texas Department of Insurance. During the 88th legislative session, Texas health plans also supported this bill.
