Have you heard the one about the couple at the doctor’s office? The husband gets some not-so-great news and says to the wife, “See? This is exactly why I didn’t want to come!” I’ve seen this with clients and my own family members. But when it comes to our health, avoidance and ignorance isn’t bliss — and, it can actually be risky.
❤️‍🩹
Instead of waiting for something to go wrong, approach your health from a place of intention, not urgency. This includes scheduling those preventative doctor and RD appointments — even when everything feels fine. We are now accepting a couple of new clients, with openings as soon as next week, so consider this your cue to contact us.

‼️ Dip Diet Tip ‼️
If you find yourself hungry all the time, it’s not a sign of failure or lack of willpower—it’s feedback.

Hunger is your body communicating.
Often, it means something was missing: protein, fiber, healthy fats… or simply enough food overall.

Instead of ignoring it, use it as data.
Build your next meal with more intention, more balance, and more staying power.

Your body isn’t working against you—it’s guiding you. 🤍

Fat can be confusing. It used to be about low-fat everything (Snackwells, anyone?), and now the message has seemingly swung the other way. So, what’s the skinny? 😉
🥑
Here’s a simpler way to think about it:
Not all fats act the same, but you don’t need to overthink it.
🥑
Focus on overall patterns, lean more toward olive oil, nuts, seeds, and fish, and limit highly processed fats as much as you can.
🥑
No extremes. Just sound direction! 💛

Love being a Methodist Healthcare health ambassador - their messaging is always about improving the physical and mental health of the community, a rarity for a hospital group!

So grateful to get to do what I love and so grateful to get to do it with such an incredible team 🎥🎬📽️

Gut health doesn’t have to be complicated. Many of the foods that support a healthy gut are foods you may already be eating — fiber-rich plants, fermented foods, and a wide variety of fruits and vegetables.
Small, consistent habits can make a big difference over time. 🫶🫶

One of the biggest surprises for many of my clients is that improving their nutrition and lifestyle doesn’t have to mean extreme diets, rigid rules, or starting over every Monday.
More often, it’s about small, realistic shifts that add up over time.
When the approach feels sustainable, progress tends to follow. 💪🫶

🥝 Fruit Highlight: KIWI
Small but seriously powerful.
The kiwi might be the most underrated fruit in the store and I am always recommending it to clients.
Why I love it:
• Supports digestion with natural enzymes
• Great for gut health thanks to fiber
• Packed with antioxidants
Plus — studies suggest eating kiwi in the evening may help improve sleep.

This tiny fruit is proof that simple foods can reap BIG benefits.
