One of my clients recently brought my attention to the concept of gathering a "Menoposse" when we are going through perimenopause and menopause. I looked into this and discovered that the menoposse movement is being led by an OBGYN named Mary Claire Haver who wrote the book "The New Menopause." One of my best friends who is a family practice doctor recently recommended this book to me. The author was just on Brené Brown's podcast so her work is definitely trending. I am listening to the book on Audible and I am enjoying it. I am learning about the current research on hormone replacement therapy and realizing that my perception of it is outdated! I am transitioning with the Radiant Living Academy of Ayurveda to comply with new educational standards for in-person learning hours required by the Ayurvedic Accreditation Commission.
