UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry

The University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry The Rosenberg School of Optometry is located near the Medical Center area of San Antonio.

Our class size is approximately 68 students. The campus consists of multimedia classrooms, technologically-advanced clinical laboratories, vision science and clinical libraries, study areas, student services space, faculty and administrative offices, conference rooms, and other Optometry teaching facilities. The School offers two state of the art clinical facilities including the Eye & Vision Care

Clinic on-site of the main facility and one which will be located on the Eastside of San Antonio. The Eastside clinic will be a multidisciplinary teaching environment equipped to provide comprehensive health care to undeserved populations. UIWRSO is the only Optometry School in the United States associated with a faith-based institution.

⭐UIWRSO Student Spotlight⭐

Ibrahim Khattab graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2023. He has finished his 2nd year and is now a rising 3rd year of the Doctor of Optometry Program at the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry.

Ibrahim approaches learning with curiosity, honesty, and directness. His presence brings a refreshing sense of lightness and genuine authenticity that is deeply valued. We are honored he calls RSO home.
