What caught my eye about this entry in the death register was that the church record indicated, "shot by law officer". Then the pathology report indicates GSW to head and shoulder. I wonder if the Atascosa Sheriff's Office has a file on this case that is available on an open records request. I'd like to find out more about his case. You know, for historical purposes.

This is the tale of two brothers who were involved in a “shooting mishap” according to their mother’s obituary. Both were the only biological children of Eulalia Alcorta Alvarado, who lived to be over 100 years old. Both brothers were married at the time of their death. They are not listed in the church registry of deaths, but are buried at Rodriguez Cemetery in Amphion, Texas.
