The PRIDE office staff went BANANAS ... and celebrated NATIONAL BANANA SPLIT DAY a little early. (Officially, it is AUG 25th each year). Thanks, team, for all you do ... it is a real "treat" working with all of you ... some might say ... you're the "cherry on top"!!!

Employee Spotlight! ⭐
For the past 10 years, Ana Bishop has been a dedicated member of the Pride PHC team, bringing her heart for people and passion for advocacy into everything she does.

Recently, in her role as a Patient Navigation Specialist, Ana acted quickly when a patient couldn’t call 911 themselves. Staying calm under pressure, she immediately contacted EMS, gave them clear and accurate details, and ensured help was on the way.

Reflecting on the moment, Ana shared: “I felt a sense of peace and began to pray for her immediately, asking our Lord God almighty to be with her.”

We’re proud to celebrate Ana’s quick thinking, compassion, and the caring spirit she brings to every patient she helps.

Pride PHC Services leadership joined other Health Care Continuum colleagues at the First Friday Networking July Mixer. Thank you, Shavano Park Senior Living for hosting and providing all the guests with respite from the Texas sun, along with some delightful snacks. Such a great community of caring people in the First Friday Network. We will look forward to sharing and receiving referrals between now and the next meeting. 🙂

Originally starting her journey in healthcare administration, life eventually led her to direct care. And when the world shifted during COVID-19, Vicky found purpose and fulfillment as a provider with Pride.

We’re proud to recognize Maria Garcia as our April Employee of the Month at Pride PHC! Maria has been with us for one year, working diligently on our Billing team - and while she may not be in the field, her work is a huge part of making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes.
