The SLEW Wellness Center provides no-cost aftercare services to improve the quality of life for uninsured, underinsured and low income women recovering from and/or undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation treatments. The SLEW Wellness Center program offers a holistic package of FREE services. Our services are provided under one roof in a welcoming, caring setting. SLEW provides the most comprehensive program for after-treatment cancer care in the Bexar County area.

We had such a wonderful time at our August Big Group Session!
A huge thank you to:
✨ Ericka Padilla from Power Puff Pearls for teaching our ladies makeup tips and wig styling.
✨ Bailey from the San Antonio Food Bank for showing us how to make a fresh and tasty cucumber melon salad.
✨ Our counselor Ursula Ramirez, who led a relaxing mindfulness and meditation session.
To top it all off, each of our ladies went home with a Mary Kay bag filled with skincare goodies!

We had a great big group session this month for our clients! We would like to thank Lisa Horst from The Packard Law Firm for coming and sharing useful information on their injury and disability services. We would also like to thank Bailey from the San Antonio Food Bank for doing a food demonstration. She made some yummy oatmeal cinnamon protein bites that our ladies enjoyed! Our counselor Ursula also had a group discussion on passive/aggresive behavior. To end off the class our ladies were able to take home a goodie bag!
