A Fiesta-inspired piece 💐

This artwork was drawn with our space and community in mind by our very own Laura (you may recognize her from the front desk).

If you're one of our members, you may already have one of our t-shirts with the phrase “Healing Hands,” a reflection of our commitment to care, calm, and connection—especially during a time that’s so full of energy and celebration.

It’s been fun to bring a bit of that into our space in a way that still feels true to us. We’ll have a printed version here in the studio soon 🤍

Fourteen years ago, I started Massage Therapy by Krissy out of my living room.

Things grew faster than I expected, and the moment people I did not know personally started booking with me, I knew it was time to make a move. I rented a single room from a nurse practitioner, which felt like a big deal at the time. About a year after that, I outgrew that too, and found my way to the building where we still are today, starting out in a two-room suite just behind where we are now.

I remember sometime around 2014, I got curious about a larger space in the same complex and asked if I could come take a look. I walked in and thought, this place is enormous. I would have absolutely no idea what to do with all of this. I left and went back to my two rooms.

Well. Funny how things work out.
Not only did we eventually grow into that larger space, we have since expanded into part of the very same area of the building I first rented. We are feeling pretty cozy in here now.

I am sharing a few photos of our humble beginnings so you can see where this all started. It makes me smile every time I look back at them.

Fourteen years of things falling into place right when it was time. I could not be more grateful for the clients, the team, and this community that made every single step feel possible.
Here is to whatever comes next. 💚
