It's perfectly safe to get a massage over ➡fully healed⬅ tattoos.

Fresh ink? That’s a different story. Your body treats a new tattoo like an open wound — increasing blood flow to help it heal.

While everything is a case-by-case basis, in general - not only could it be painful (can you imagine deep tissue pressure on a fresh tattoo?😬), but it’s also best for your healing process to wait a week or two before hopping on the table.

After that, make sure the still-healing art is bandaged, and we’ll avoid massaging directly over the area. Your comfort and care are always our priority!
