How do you know if you are Insulin Resistant? IR is a symptom when you have higher Triglycerides, Glucose, and Metabolic Syndrome. That means you are overweight and not able to manage Insulin right. Getting off starchy carbs and adding protein, fats and vegetables will really help!

Himalayan Salt does not contain Iodine.
In the 1920's the main cause of inability to enlist in the Armed Forces in Michigan was Goiter. From lack of Iodine.
Instead of eating iodized salt, use Himalayan or my Pink Salt, but ADD a quality Iodine source. Small doses are enough.

Why do you need Iodine and what is the best form and dose? Is it OK with Hashimoto's? Why is high dose Iodine dangerous? Does Iodized Salt have Iodine?

BLOOD WORK TIP: look at lab ranges for test results. Aim for the middle of the range.
Like this Bell Curve, you don't want to be at the edges with unhealthy people. A range of 20 to 100 and you're at 25?? Not great!

Sleep affects blood sugar.
Several studies show that irregular sleep, waking up often at night or insufficient sleep can promote glucose instability. People who don’t get enough sleep are about 40 percent more likely to develop diabetes than those who get seven to eight hours of sleep.
