Comprehensive eye exams are available by Dr. Susan Klemens for patients of all ages.

A native Californian, Dr. Susan Tran Klemens completed her undergraduate education at the University of California at Davis. After receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2006, she returned to California and completed a post-graduate residency in hospital-based primary care, with an emphasis on low vision rehabilitation, at the Palo Alto Veteran Affairs Hospital. Her optometric experience includes providing primary care for patients of all ages (as young as 6 months old), contact lenses, and ocular disease. Outside of optometry, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Lt Col Adam Klemens of the United States Air Force, and their three children Aidan (age 10), Adrian (age 8), and Addison (age 6).

March 28, 2023: Notice of Office Return to SAN ANTONIO!

Dear Patients and Friends,

I am ecstatic to announce the return and reopening of my office in San Antonio, Texas, July 2023!

Please keep your eyes and ears open as we finalize the details.

I thank you for allowing me to provide care to you and your family while we were stationed in San Antonio, and hope that you will allow me to continue to do so upon my return.

The office is projected to reopen July 17, 2023.

It's hard not to feel the love when your patients (family of 4) fly all the way from San Antonio to have their eye exams with you. I've been seeing this young lady since she was 12, and now she's headed to college next year!!! 👀
